Berlin

We arrived in Berlin today. We got a train from London to Paris and then a train from Paris to Berlin. We did not really leave loads of time for the transfer so when I got a message saying the first train would be delayed we did panic slightly (actually Niamh panicked enough for two!). We just about made the train and were very sweaty after running with heavy bags which was not pleasant. We shared a cabin with really crabby people but other than it was grand. It was the first time on a night trains for either of us, Niamh was still rocking for a while by the time we got off. Who knows what she'll be like by the time we get to China. We got to our hostel in Berlin, which is nice, and spent the day sightseeing. Off to have a beer now...
